What does your company do and what value are you creating today?

CRONIMET Nordic is a circular economy company – we are engaged in the environmentally sustainable collection, processing, and resale of scrap metal for recycling. In 2024, we helped redirect 215 thousand tons of metals to a new life cycle, and the company’s turnover reached 144.5 million euros. We offer a scrap metal collection and dismantling service on the client’s premises. In Estonia, we have eight scrap metal purchasing points open.

What motivated you to join GreenDice?

To contribute to extending the lifespan of office electronics while simultaneously supporting those in need.

Have you implemented green and circular economy principles in your company, and if so, how?

• We use reusable dishes in the office.
• Sustainable use of energy resources (LED lighting, air source heat pumps).
• Digital document storage, digital archive.
• Increasing the volume of recyclable waste handling with the aim of returning it to the recycling process.

Why is it important for you to contribute primarily to the development of Estonia and the wider society?

We care about the world, especially the well-being of Estonia: our activities are aimed at sustainable development, a clean natural environment, and resource efficiency. Our activities are future-oriented: we care about our employees and customers. We feel responsible for the values, knowledge, and competitiveness of future generations.
