Maru

What do you do?

MARU is a holding-type parent company, the main activity of which is the coordination of the activities of its subsidiaries and the development and management of the real estate. Maru is engaged in general contracting for design and construction. Our slogan is “Shaping imaginations!”. Through our activities, we help increase the success of our client’s businesses and create a sustainable living and working environment. We follow a customer-centric and sustainable approach in our work, find reliable solutions and implement them with high quality.

What motivated you to join GreenDice?

GreenDice and Maru share the same values: responsible business and sustainable solutions. We are happy to be able to help make the circular economy work by giving old computers a new life. 💚

Have you implemented green and circular policies in your business and how?

We have raised the awareness of our employees about sustainability and environmental protection. We have formed a separate sustainability working group and joined the Green Tiger program. Our sustainability team is made up of members from different parts of our company, and we are working to keep our environmental footprint smaller today than it was today. We have developed and are working on solutions both in design (where the impact on the ecological footprint of a building’s life cycle is most significant) and in construction and support activities.

Why is it important for you to contribute to the development of Estonia and the rest of society?

We may work for different companies, and live in different countries or continents, but we all have one and only planet on which we live. We must respect the environment and nature and preserve it for the best of our future generations. It is very important to ensure equal opportunities for all members of society, regardless of their gender, place of residence, or economic status.
